Oh, the joys of sewing!
Fair readers, I am doing so much better these days, due in no small part to my hubby being home, but just as importantly, to the effectiveness of my latest medication. I really feel I'm on the right track finally. These last few days have actually felt normal to me. Bedtime is no longer a chore, I sleep through the night; a deep, peaceful, healing sleep and wake rested and ready to take on the day. The drowsiness is gone, and so is much of the apathy. Granted, this is medication I have to take every 8 hours for the rest of my life. But if I can feel this normal, then that is what I will willingly do.
So, with my renewed energy, I joined the ranks following Hillary's Make-a-Long Tale and have almost finished sewing Olive...
I had to open a pillow I created awhile back to get enough stuffing to finish (note to self...go to Joann's and pick up more stuffing...)
This is as far as I got when hubby reminded me that it was 11pm and could I please come to bed? So I'll finish her today if munchkin naps...he's been teething again, more molars. He's now on 10 teeth and counting. Not fun trying to fish out objects from his chompers. I've come to the conclusion that if I want him to eat vegetables, I need to disguise them as small bugs or bits of paper and grind them into the floor, as these objects he willingly puts into his mouth and chews!
Anyhow, get over to the Wee Wonderfuls site, plunk down your $10, and join in the fun! (note...after you pay using PayPal, make sure you click the button at the bottom saying return to merchant or you won't get the pattern...she's been having trouble getting folks to do this, so I'll mention it here.)
